New Life Christian Church is founded on the good news that God has done everything necessary to bring us into a relationship with him. The good news tells us that believing in Jesus and his finished work on the cross is the basis of salvation and a right relationship with God.

New Life Christian Church was planted by migrants from the Netherlands in the early 1950s. It was first established as the Blacktown Reformed Church, and later became known as the Blacktown Christian Reformed Church. Today, in order to reflect the ongoing new life promised by the Lord Jesus Christ who is the head of the church, we are now called New Life Christian Church.

The people of New Life Christian Church are a family of ordinary people from all walks of life who believe that Jesus Christ is Saviour and Lord. We love to meet together and get to know new people!

O U R B E L I E F S

We believe that Scripture alone is the final authority by which we are to live (2 Timothy 3:14-17).
Christ alone is the one true Saviour of the world (Acts 4:10-12).
Salvation is a gift of grace alone and is not earned (Ephesians 2:8).
We are saved by faith alone and not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Our salvation and all we do in response is for the glory of God alone (1 Corinthians 10:31).
We uphold the confessions of the Reformation, including the Heidelberg Catechism,
Belgic Confession, Canons of Dort and Westminster Confession.

O U R T E A M

Glenn Dillon is a Pastor at New Life and he works together with the elders, overseeing the ministries and staff of the church. He & his wife, Bec, are excited to be part of God’s work in Blacktown and long to see the name of Jesus honoured among our community. They also coordinate the Rivers of Life Mission in Kisumu, Kenya.

Kirralee is a ministry worker here at New Life. She assists with overseeing all our ministries, in particular Hosting, Pastoral Care and Music. She also facilitates our social media and communications. She is passionate about seeing our community, particularly our newcomers, experience the love of Christ through our church family and loves seeing how God is working here at New Life.

Rachel is our Church Admin, and looks after the daily running of the church office needs. She is also our ChildSafe coordinator, where she ensures all our volunteers are providing a safe environment for our children and vulnerable people. She was born and baptised in our church, and has returned to God and His family with a heart to help the broken.

Lisa is a Ministry Apprentice at New Life. She serves in the Women's Ministry, Youth leadership, Morning tea & Coffee cart, one to one Discipleship and runs a Young Women's Bible study. She is passionate to serve for the purpose of growing Gods Kingdom, and hopes to be able to train up young leaders and apprentices after she finishes her MTS training.

Georgia coordinates our Kids@NewLife program - the children's program run every Sunday during both services. She leads a team of volunteers who love to share the good news of Jesus to children.

Ulita is the other half of our Kids@NewLife program - she assists with the development of our programs and training of the team, and loves seeing our young children grow in their love of the Lord.

Michelle coordinates our JAM (Jesus & Me) Ministry. She is passionate about seeing our primary aged kids grow in their love and knowledge of the Lord, while having fun doing so!

Samuel & Abbi coordinate our Youth Group ministry. They are passionate about seeing our young people come to a saving faith in Jesus, and love being part of that journey.
