We believe it is not only crucial for us to reach the nations around the world with the gospel and practical love, but to also reach our own local community in Blacktown with the same through our local outreach programs, events, and giving opportunities. We long to see God working through us to reach the city of Blacktown.
Our prayer is that New Life Christian Church will be a light to the lost and those in need in our community to truly see and experience the love of Christ.

Our New Life Family Festival is an annual outreach event that is completely funded and run by the members of New Life Christian Church. We have cultural food stalls, face painting, second-hand goods, a jumping castle, games rooms, plaster painting and many more activities, all for free! We love putting on this free event to bless our Blacktown community, have some great conversations, and get to know more of the people living around us.

Scripture clearly speaks of the Lord’s concern for the weak and needy who have no one to help them (Psalm 72:12-13). Christ Himself has compassion on the hungry and the thirsty, the stranger and the poor, the sick and the prisoner, and so those who come to their aid are seen as doing this work for Christ (Matthew 25:31). The word "deacon" actually comes from the Greek word diakonos, which simply means "minister" or "serve". A deacon then is one who serves the Lord and the church.
At New Life, the role of deacons is a ministry of mercy. We have four deacons who together help those within the church body and the greater local community physically, financially, and also spiritually. One of the biggest aspects of this outreach ministry is coordinating the New Life Pantry, which is well-stocked with donated goods for hampers for internal and external contacts. The hamper consists of a variety of non perishable food items, recipes, a gospel tract, and information about New Life and other community services. The deaconate is a crucial part of our church community as they pray for our people and care for them practically in the church.

Churches Of Blacktown In Schools (COBIS) is a not-for-profit fundraising organisation that places Christian workers in Blacktown City public high schools.
Bernie Coleman, one of our members, is a COBIS worker in Mitchell High School, Blacktown Girls High School and Evans High School doing breakfast clubs, lunchtime groups and teaching Scripture with a team of volunteers. COBIS recognises the privilege it is to teach Special Religious Education (SRE) in public schools and so are diligent to ensure they align with the standards set by the NSW Department of Education, and seek to provide a safe, engaging environment for all children who attend SRE classes.
