Rivers of Life Mission is a non-profit and a non-denominational organisation founded by our ministry worker Glenn Dillon and his wife, Rebecca, and is based in Kisumu, Kenya. The ultimate goal is to transform lives and communities by meeting the spiritual needs of "the least of these" by running a school providing education for poor children and food relief for their families, as well as bringing the message of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ through church planting and the training of gospel leaders.
E D U C A T I O N
Rivers of Life provides educational support through running New Life Christian School. The school provides education to over 150 children who would never have had the opportunity to learn, as well as providing a breakfast program and food relief for their families. The school has 6 full-time teachers.
F O O D R E L I E F
Rivers of Life is also committed to meeting physical needs of people through food relief for widows and struggling families in surrounding communities, and also for the families of those who attend New Life Christian School.
R A I S I N G U P G O S P E L L E A D E R S
Our priority is bringing the Word of God to bear on people's lives in Kisumu. This is achieved through the support of Wisdom Training Centres which teach biblical truth and counter the errors of the prosperity gospel which runs rampant in Africa. The course is delivered in a practical, evangelical and reformed manner with an evangelistic emphasis. Our lead pastor for Rivers of Life Mission is Boniface, who lives in Hall village with his wife Eunice and 3 children, Sue, Roland and David. Boniface is passionate about the gospel and seeing people come to understand the good news of the gospel. He is currently studying at the Wisdom Training Centre. Boniface is the Pastor of New Life Christian Church, where he is involved in the training of elders and supporting the people who are struggling with food and medical needs, and manages New Life Christian School.
